If you weren’t a pro rider what would you be?
I don’t know what I would be doing if riding wasn't part of my life.
How do you spend your free time?
Lately I've been healing from shoulder surgery and it’s been a vacation for me. I like to spend my free time relaxing and enjoying life!
Current sled(s)?
Arctic Cat Sno Pros
If you could change your sled(s), what would you change?
I would fix my creased tunnel...lol...that was my fault. I wouldn’t change anything about my cats except for shortening the track, and bigger engines.
What is your favorite toy (other than the sleds)?
My Mini Bike110.
And or…what is your favorite non motorized toy?
Guitar Hero
What is the furthest from home you have ever been?
Traveling has been a part of my riding career since I started and its taken me all over the globe. I've been places like Russia, Sweden, Newfoundland, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and all over the lower 48 states.
What is the best practical joke you have ever played on someone?
Still to come. I’m usually the one the joke is played on.
First thought when you wake up in the morning?
Just 5 more minutes to snooze...
What’s the hardest part about being a pro snowmobiler?
I think the hardest part about being a pro rider is staying free of injury. Obviously its something we have to deal with, you just have to ride smart.
Who is currently playing on your ring tone?
The stock ring.
What do you spend your money on?
I’m saving for land and a house right now. But my play money is spent on ink, medical bills, and FUN!!
Your best pick up line?
I didn’t need one, Angela picked me up!
What was the craziest thing you did this year on a sled?
I over jumped a 100ft step down at X-Games and crashed out. It’s the worst and hardest I have ever hit in my life!
How do you kill time when you’re on the road?
I like to make others drive so I can sleep in the back. I’ve been traveling since I started riding so 12 hours in the truck is a normal drive.
What makes you happy?
Riding, Music, art, and staying positive.
What pisses you off?
Not being able to pull a trick after practicing it all day.
What are your thoughts on beer?
I like Heineken....after the work and play are done for the day.
What is the best part about being involved with Slednecks?
I’ve always been happy to be a part of the Slednecks family from the beginning. They are all awesome people who I am proud to know and work with.
Favorite area to ride?
My Home-Turf Ramp.
How did you get your start in snowmobiling?
I started filming with Slednecks and frontier films in the beginning and got my name known enough to stay motivated and keep pushing my riding ability.
What trick scares you the most?
Cliffhangers and Flips! Cliffhangers are my favorite but scare me every time I do them. Flips are mental for me.
Your gnarliest scar story?
My gnarliest story is definitely over jumping a 100ft step down. The best way to describe it is... after I left the ramp, I knew I went way to fast. I had too much time in the air to think what did I just do and how am I getting out of this one? It was like one of those dreams where you hit a jump and then keep falling, and falling, and falling, and right before you hit, you jolt and wake up. I didn’t wake up from this nightmare. It was the loudest, hardest impact I have ever taken on anything. I suffered a dislocated shoulder, compressed back (nothing broken), I had to get stitches on my chin from biting the bars and my jaws is messed up now. I think I was lucky that’s all that happened. I fell from the sky!
Who do you look up to?
I’ve always looked up to people who do things out of the ordinary and push the limits.
What is your dream car?
Escalade, all black, black 24's
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In my back yard, riding my sled and still ripping at age 35!
Where do you see snowmobiling in 10 years?
That’s the question of the year. Now that we are in X-games, it just going to get better from here.
French toast or pancakes?
Pancakes!!! Soaked in maple syrup!
Please give us a few words of wisdom…
Hope for the best but expect the worse. Stay positive and keep your dreams and goals within reach.
